ABS Summer Camp 2025 at Dungkar Dzong

Dungkar Estate hosted Ability Bhutan Society (ABS) Summer Camp 2025 for children with disabilities and their families on 28 June 2025 at the historic Dungkar Dzong in Pangbisa, Paro.
The event brought together families, caregivers, and professionals in a safe and supportive environment designed to promote inclusion, engagement, and joyful experiences for children with diverse abilities.
The summer camp featured a variety of interactive activities including group games, art sessions, storytelling, and mindfulness exercises tailored to meet the needs and interests of participating children. The program also offered a valuable opportunity for parents and caregivers to connect, share experiences, and receive support from the ABS team.
Mr. Tenzin Jamtsho affirmed the importance, saying, “Dungkar Dzong is honored to be part of this meaningful initiative. Supporting organizations like ABS aligns with our commitment to inclusivity, community wellbeing, and Gross National Happiness.”
The day-long camp was led by Mr. Kunzang N Tshering, Executive Director of ABS, and hosted by Mr. Tenzin Jamtsho, Managing Director of Dungkar Estate.
The 2025 summer camp at Dungkar Dzong is part of ABS’s continued efforts to create inclusive experiences that empower children with disabilities and foster greater understanding and collaboration among Bhutanese communities.
