Druk Gyalpo’s Institute Celebrates His Majesty’s 45th Birth Anniversary at Dungkar Dzong

Pangbisa, Paro – February 21, 2025 – The Druk Gyalpo’s Institute (DGI) marked the joyous occasion of His Majesty The King’s 45th Birth Anniversary with a grand celebration at Dungkar Dzong. The event, attended by faculty, staff, students, and guests, was a heartfelt tribute to His Majesty’s extraordinary leadership and unwavering commitment to the nation.

The celebration commenced with a traditional Marchang ceremony, followed by prayers for the King’s good health and long life. Attendees then engaged in a series of cultural performances, including traditional songs and dances, to express their gratitude and reverence for His Majesty’s guidance in shaping Bhutan’s progress.

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt offering of Tashi Labay and collective prayers, reaffirming the deep loyalty and devotion of the Bhutanese people to their beloved King.
